Club Color Nail Polish Haul

(From L to R): Chunky Glitter:I can't find this one :(, Wild Orchid, Untamed Luxury, Red Velvet

(From L to R): Peppermint Twist, Uptown Girl, Almost Famous

(Click either of the photos to enlarge them. You get a much better idea of how gorgeous the colors are if you do.)

I got these all at a cosmetology supply store (Aerial) in the clearance area. Most of them were less than a dollar each! I'm not normally a pink and red polish girl, but this pink is my new favorite polish color EVER! They stay on pretty well, but since I work as a hairstylist and have my hands in the water all the time, nail polish in general chips off my fingers faster than most people. I use OPI Natural Base Coat and OPI Top Coat. BUT, I've heard so many good things about Seche Vite Top Coat that I think I'm going to try it. The more strength a top coat has the better! If anyone is interested in swatches, I'd be happy to post them.

I've been thriftin' quite a bit lately. Mostly for housewares. It's turning into kind of an obsession. More on that next post! TOODAHLOO!

"You try until you can't."

"This is how it works
You're young until you're not
You love until you don't
You try until you can't
You laugh until you cry
You cry until you laugh
And everyone must breathe
Until their dying breath.
"

All this snow is really really beautiful! Aside from the shoveling and unplowed roads, I haven't really minded the weather. I've been really bum like on the clothes front lately, so I was pretty proud of myself yesterday because I decided to get my dress up on. Don't mind the blurred out face, I hadn't done my hair or makeup yet and I looked like a hot mess.

(Through out this post, click on any image to enlarge it.)

Top: Forever21 v-neck
Bubble Skirt: Taylor and Hyde
Shoes: Dolce Vita for Target
Tights: Walmart
Necklace: Camera with leather body from Forever21
(I need to post a close up of the necklace sometime, it's ADORABLE!)

I also hit up the awesome clearance/dolla section at Target and scored some sweet finds the other day!

Awesome picture frames. I love the colors and the design on the bottom.

Got these plates with adorable little kiddie animals on them! I can't
help it, they're so adorable and they were only a buck!

Got a corkscrew (finally) and an adorable bottle stopper. It
was in with the Valentines Day stuff, but it's so cute you could
definitely use it year round.

This was also in the Valentines area. It's meant to be a gift box
but the print matches the damask print on my comforter so I'm
Going to put them (I purchased 3) on the shelves of my night stand
to hold little knick-knacks and the like.

I love cheap cute finds. I'll probably turn into a hoarder someday, really. I suppose I should go chug some water now, though. I have to head off to Biolife here in a few to donate some plasma. Let's hope I don't faint this time!

OH! Keep a look out. I'll be posting a review on some nail polishes I got (with photos) either today or tomorrow!

A New Chapter

I've been terrible at updating this. There is no excuse other than I'm a lazy goob. I've started updating a portfolio on the CF Regis Salons facebook site (You should go like the page, it can be found here) & I decided that it was only fitting that I shared that on here as well. I mean, that is part of the reason I made this blog!

This before and after is of a girl that came in on Sunday. She's going through a big life change and wanted to change her hair along with that. We gave her a sweet new cut and color. She loved it!

I feel like that picture is really small? But I'm not sure how this blog works quite yet. OH WELL. I'll figure it out eventually. This post is kind of short and lame, but I'm workin' on it. LATERRR.

Edit: If you click on the photo, it enlarges apparently. So if you wanna, click on it and it'll let you look at it in better detail. Ta ta!
